Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the movement method can improve the ability to memorize hadith in group B Raudhatul Athfal Rabithah Islamiyah Batam City. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The subjects in this research were students aged 5-6 years, totaling 15 children. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. The research instruments used were teaching modules, observation guidelines for the ability to memorize hadiths, observation guidelines for implementing activities. The data analysis technique uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research results show that the ability to memorize hadiths can be improved through the movement method. This can be proven in the initial condition of the children before the action was taken which shows that the majority of children are at low criteria. In Cycle 1 the ability to memorize hadiths increased by 60%, in Cycle II the ability to memorize hadiths increased by a percentage of 93% of children who succeeded in achieving the success indicators. The conclusion of this research is that the movement method can improve the ability to memorize hadiths in the TK B Raudhatul Athfal Rabithah Islamiyah Batam City group.
