Abstract

This article discusses the importance of designing a balanced Islamic education curriculum that accommodates both the intellectual and spiritual needs of students. This balanced curriculum aims to integrate religious knowledge with general sciences, while also focusing on character development in line with Islamic values. The emphasis on the integration of religious studies and science, as well as the simultaneous development of intellectual and spiritual dimensions, is crucial in educating a generation that is not only intellectually capable but also morally upright. The strategy for designing this curriculum involves flexibility in responding to the evolving times without compromising fundamental Islamic principles, as well as the importance of collaboration between families, schools, and communities in supporting the educational process. With this approach, Islamic education is expected to produce individuals who are knowledgeable, virtuous, and prepared to face global challenges
